Polyethylene terephthalate is a very important type of thermoplastic polyester. Its English name is Polythylene terephthalate, abbreviated as PET or PETP (hereinafter referred to as PET), commonly known as polyester resin. It is a condensation product of terephthalic acid and ethylene glycol, and together with PBT, it is collectively referred to as thermoplastic polyester, or saturated polyester.
PET bottle embryo is a typical injection molding product, which is easy to transport. It is mostly made of plastic material, has a uniform texture, and has good insulation. It is an intermediate product of plastic bottles and oil barrels. Under a certain temperature and pressure, the raw materials are filled in the mold, and under the processing of the injection molding machine, it is processed into a bottle embryo with a certain thickness and height corresponding to the mold.
PET is a milky white or yellowish highly crystalline polymer with a smooth and shiny appearance. It has good creep resistance, fatigue resistance, friction resistance and dimensional stability, low wear and high hardness, and has the toughness of thermoplastic plastics; good electrical insulation performance, little temperature influence, but poor corona resistance. Non-toxic, weather-resistant, good chemical resistance stability, low water absorption, resistant to weak acids and organic solvents.
PET preforms have strong applicability and are widely used in daily necessities, daily chemical packaging and other fields. From mold processing to machinery and equipment, there are very strong picky, easy to get started, but difficult to do fine. PET preforms are blow-molded and processed again to form plastic bottles, including bottles used for packaging of cosmetics, medicines, health care, beverages, mineral water, reagents, etc. This bottle making method is called a two-step method, that is, the preform is formed by injection molding, and then the PET plastic bottle is formed by blow molding.
PET plastic bottles combine the texture of glass bottles but maintain the characteristics of plastic bottles, that is, plastic bottles can have the appearance of glass bottles, but have the advantages of not easy to break, environmental protection, and good transportation than glass bottles. PET plastic bottles have greater flexibility in the selection of bottle shapes and capacities, and can produce products of different bottle shapes and capacities, enriching the variety of products.
