As the raw material of PET bottles, the quality of PET preforms has an important impact on the quality of finished products, so strict quality inspection is required. Generally speaking, the quality inspection of PET preforms mainly includes three aspects: appearance quality, physical properties and chemical properties.
The first is appearance quality inspection. Appearance is the impression of PET preforms and one of the important factors for consumers to choose products. Therefore, appearance quality inspection is very important. Appearance quality inspection mainly includes checking whether there are defects such as bubbles, sand holes, cracks, and whether there are problems such as color difference or spots on the surface of PET preforms. Appearance quality inspection can be carried out by visual inspection, microscopic observation and other methods.
The second is physical property inspection. Physical properties are important indicators of whether PET preforms meet the requirements of relevant standards. Physical property inspection mainly includes the size, wall thickness, strength, transparency and other aspects of PET preforms. Physical property inspection can be carried out by optical measuring instruments, tensile testing machines, thickness gauges and other equipment.
